Bravo! TX Sen. Harris (R) interrupted the Spanish-language testimony of an "immigrant"
activist (who is a citizen of 23 YEARS), to say it was "insulting" for the man not to speak
English.

This goes to the heart of all that's wrong with 'La Raza' amnesty advocates:
The separatism, sense of entitlement, and contempt for English - which prior
immigrants rushed to adopt.

Personally I would have liked the Senator to take it a bit further and when the Mexican said he had been here since 1982 asked him so how did you get here, did you come to this country legally or did you break our laws to get here and benefit from our way of life?

yes, we have laid down for these people long enough and it's about time we start standing up for our rights. He wasn't there for anybody's rights but his own race's rights. That is what La Raza is all about, RACE, and it isn't for whites, blacks , Asians, just Hispanics. This country has given these people benefits up the wazoo and then he comes to that meeting to spit in our face - sorry Mike but respect is a two-way street.
