Edamame is the one thing I have never understood. I go to a Chinese buffet, and they always have these. They taste awful. They are hard to chew. I keep telling myself that these are simply poorly prepared edamame, that nothing could be that bad and still be accepted as food, but no. Edamame always tastes awful. The flavor seems to most resemble brown paper packing tape with the glue you have to wet to get it to stick.
There are several other things I will not eat, like chicken feet, because they just look disgusting, but nothing I have tasted that is accused of being food is worse than edamame.
Blah!
The only fish I dislike so far are anchovies of the pickled sort.
