Your mistake is interpolating that using government - and therefore taxpayer - money had anything to do with why I posted both artcles.
To make it easier for you to understand, my issue is with the Tea Party, and has been from the beginnings of the Tea Party. I could care less that the members would not want the government to step in and pay the hypothetical guys hypothetical medical bills. My issue is with their crass reaction to the hypothetical situation.
"The tea party has been beleaguered since it began to nationally organize in 2009 with the general perception that it was a bastion of conservative ethnocentric racist lunatic fringers. It also seemed to draw from the far right of the Republican Party that openly shouted racial slurs and hateful slogans about liberals, then-Sen. Barack Obama and their ties with socialism at McCain-Palin rallies in the ramp-up to the 2008 general election." (from the second article I posted)
Even since then, it seems every time I see anything about the Tea Party, it's negative. Their stated goals, for the most part, hold some appeal for me; their behavior doesn't. I guess they do hold enough appeal to some folks to dive right in. Well, so does the Ku Klux Klan, I suppose, or the Aryan Brotherhood. I'm just not one of them.
So you see, it had nothing to do with taking money from your pocket to pay any hypothetical medical bills, or somehow forcing you to show compassion. You missed the point entirely.
You guys have fun in the little world you have created for yourselves here.
