I was not thinking of "feeding enough", which is an action. I was thinking of knowing when one OWNS enough. Enough houses, enough jewelry, enough money.

Take Rupert Murdoch. He has four billion and seems determined to own five billion. I suggest that Rupert's life could never be changed in any meaningful way if he were to have five billion or perhaps only one measly billion.

"Enough" would be enough to fit or fill an intended purpose.

Owns is indeed a verb, just like has is a verb.

It is pretty clear that Murdock has far more than enough. He can buy anything imaginable that is for sale to enhance his life and have billions left over.

say I have ten million dollars and i use the money to make a business that generate money that goes straight to education . but I live in luxury and do very little work. Am I greedy?

I don't see why. If you invest your money and give the profits to a good cause it would seem you were more generous than greedy.

Even if you just invested your money in a company that employs people you are helping others while you help yourself. I don't see why some consider that evil.

I think I saw a similiar situation on 20/20 this rich family gives like 20% of thier money annually and still maintain thier lifestyle and john stousal was messing withy them for not giving 100%

I`m not really sure if such a life really upsets people.but I do know people do hate when you restrict what kinds of charity you give.


I get hassled for only donating to prostate research and never to breast cancer. I just simply believe as a man, prostate research should get more priority. most folks have limited amount of money to give,but for charities we`re thought we can come up with an extra $50. I don`t have that

   If you wanted to build spaceships how much would you need?

  If you wanted to build an hospital in a third world backwater how much would you need?

    If you wanted to sign ten thousand paychecks , how much would you need?
