Snowblower complained about Saddam Hussein's hanging, Anwar al-Awlaki's assassination, and now it's the mob that murdered Moammar Kadafi. Too much for him I suspect. He has lived a very sheltered existence, poor boy.

<<When Mousoulini fell into the hands of partizens he got pretty much the same treatment even though he had mistreated the Itailians far less and for far less time.>>

Mussolini was a fascist and deserved to die as he did.  He was captured by partisans and held for instructions by telephone from Rome, at that time a liberated city.  The leader of this particular band of partisans ordered the commander of the band holding Mussolini to execute him in the name of the Italian people.  Mussolini was taken from his room into the courtyard, the sentence was read out to him and one of the partisans then shot him to death with a submachine gun.  He died instantly and with a reasonable amount of dignity.  There was no beating and no torture.

It is ridiculous to claim that he and Ghaddafi got the same treatment.

The Nuremburg war criminals, whose crimes far surpassed both Mussolini's and Ghaddafi's, were hanged in a humane and traditional manner without the brutality and cowardice so vividly on display in the killing of both Saddam Hussein and Ghaddafi.  Nor were the children of the Nazi war criminals harmed in any way.

You can bet your ass that the network execs can foresee outrage that these photos would generate.  They are just sickening displays of pure savagery, totally at odds with the lying bullshit of Hillary and Obama about freedom and justice etc.

BSB has become a trifle jaded as a result of his past adventures in the genocide game.  It's hard to find any atrocity on the face of the earth now that would get any reaction from him other than a big wide YAAAAAAWWWWNNNN.  He's seen it all, been there, done that and naturally he can't help but be amused at the silly civilians who are horrified by this Mickey-Mouse level of violence and brutality.

Keep an eye on "patriots" like these; they're gonna change America their way.

Coming soon to a Death Row near you:  capital punishment Libyan style!

I don't think that it is fair to blame Hillary Clinton or Obama for killing Gaddaffi. They were not there, they did not order it, and it is unlikely that they could have stopped it with anything other than by killing his captors, which surely would have been unwise, considering that everything has a camera on them these days.

Did Gaddaffi suffer more than Mussolini? Perhaps a bit more. I don't see this as such a big deal.

And yet they both went to the airwaves to take credit for it. Obama made an address to the nation about it. Hillary was gloating in some interview about killing him.

I'm not sure we are living up to American ideals taking credit for a mob committing an assassination.

Everybody is right on script again. Good job people. The moral outrage is a bit over the top, but we'll be ready by opening night.

Don't forget to turn out the lights on your way out. I've got to get home and feed my dog.

Ha ha, that's prefect RR, right in character. I'll find a spot for it.

Say, do you think you could wear a little engineers cap while you're playing with your toy train?

I hope you stay off script this time and not get banned for increasingly deranged comments, although your comments are getting weirder as the night goes on. We'll see.

I guess it's the cognitive dissonance between their endless candy-ass pontifications about democracy and freedom and the reality of the photos of this mob of thugs beating the defenceless Ghaddafi to a pulp.  It's becoming painfully obvious to most that this whole exercise couldn't possibly be related to democracy or freedom, that none of the punks to whose aid NATO had rushed had anything at all to do with any kind of the lofty aims attributed to them.

<<Did Gaddaffi suffer more than Mussolini? Perhaps a bit more. I don't see this as such a big deal.>>

He's a human being and he was brutally lynched on camera right before your eyes.  what DO you think is a big deal?  And if it's really NBD, why are the fucking neworks in such a rush to take down actual videos of the lynching?

Driving Col. Gadafi around on the hood of a car and then shooting him point blank in the head is not consistent with American principles. We should not have had anything to do with this war.

-=================================
Gaddaffi ordered his air force to gun down unarmed civilians protesting in Benghazi. Americans did not shoot Gaddaffi, nor does it seem that they could have prevented it. It was a war, and as in all wars, people got killed brutally. Does Gaddaffi merit special recognition because of his celebrity status over unknown Libyans?

Is Michael Jackson's death a greater tragedy than the death of Leroy Jones, who never attained celebrity, but still did a mean moonwalk? If all men are equal, then no, Gaddaffi is no more special than all those Libyans killed at his direction.

It seems to me that preventing a massacre of Libyans by Gaddaffi was a worthy reason to provide the limited aid that NATO provided. A trial of Gaddaffi in the Hague would have been a better end to this, but wars are unpredictable.

<<Gaddaffi ordered his air force to gun down unarmed civilians protesting in Benghazi.>>

BFD, we see the exact same conduct from regimes the US supports, in Yemen and Bahrein.  They ALL target unarmed civilians if the unarmed civilians oppose the regime.  The Nazi war criminals hanged at Nuremburg did a lot worse, and still got a fair trial and a humane execution.  Nor were their children murdered after their demise.

<<Americans did not shoot Gaddaffi, nor does it seem that they could have prevented it.>>

The point is, it was done by the side they supported, which kind of throws back Hillary's and Obama's prattle about freedom, liberty and human rights right back in their lying faces.

<<It was a war, and as in all wars, people got killed brutally. >>

Bullshit.  Not war when a mob captures one man and there's no shooting.  Even those fucking Japs who cut off my neighbour's tongue got a fair trial and a humane punishment.  Even the God-damn Nazis.

<<Does Gaddaffi merit special recognition because of his celebrity status over unknown Libyans?>>

What a ridiculous question.  Like asking if Keitel or Ribbentrop merited special recognition?  The most loathesome criminal deserves basic human rights which only loathesome criminals in their turn will deny him.  This mob, characterized in Hillary's and Obama's speeches as freedom fighters, revealed their true colours in the lynching, which at the same time ripped the cover off Hillary's and Obama's lies.

<<Is Michael Jackson's death a greater tragedy than the death of Leroy Jones, who never attained celebrity, but still did a mean moonwalk? If all men are equal, then no, Gaddaffi is no more special than all those Libyans killed at his direction.>>

I think you've got a real commitment to Obama over the GOP, which is very, very understandable, and you're willing to overlook a helluva lot of character defects for what you consider to be the "greater good."  Michael Jackson?  Leroy Jones?  Moonwalk?  C'mon, XO, you're losing it.  You're descending into sophistry and letting the worst among us (Ghaddafi) set the standards.  And that ain't right.

It seems to me that preventing a massacre of Libyans by Gaddaffi was a worthy reason to provide the limited aid that NATO provided. A trial of Gaddaffi in the Hague would have been a better end to this, but wars are unpredictable.
