I am not seeing this movie
I don`t care if watching this movie will save  lives.
I`ll donate the ticket money to charity.
I don`t care this could be thee greatest movie on the frickin planet.

hiro was meant to be fairly generic
but the actor`s own knowledge of japanese totally fleshed out the character
the bits of startrek he speaks hooked me to the show.
I was soo sad about him and the waitress.
thats just cruel.

Now that you mention it, yes he does.
And the Japnaese actor, I would love to have his autograph.    He and Claire are the most fully-developed characters in my view, and I wonder if it's because the writers enjoy those characters more, or the actors more or what.

My personal observation seems to indicate that they are the most important characters for the first part of the series. The rest will be fleshed out more fully after they save Peter. They are the main characters in the first story arc - important for the story to continue, but they'll drop to the background afterwards.

It's a good show.  We watch it every week.

My hope is that they will someday actually form a team of some kind.   The worry I have is that it'll turn out that everyone has a power.  UGH.  But I don't see that coming yet.
