That premise appears to conclude that taxes is the ONLY thing wrong with this states.  If we could just raise them, poof, most of our "impasse" problems would be solved

And FACT is that CA is ALREADY ONE OF THE HIGHEST TAXED STATES IN THE COUNTRY.  That 1/3 actually helping to prevent the 2/3 of ultraleftists from making them even higher, is tantamount to a miracle.

And FACT is that Californians had the opportunity to "support the will" of the ultraleftists in raising taxes, by vote, and they overwhelmingly said NO, at the ballot box
