Wondering would this cause a shift in islam

Due to the attacks caused by that anti-muslim movie. Would this give more people to question islam?
Ex. In the media i don't really see many muslim saying those attacks are frowned upon

One thing about the US media is that there are very, very few correspondents that speak or read the languages in Islamic countries. If  you listen to Al Jazeera English, you will hear condemnations of terrorism all the time, but less so in response to the stupid movie trailer in question, which was specifically designed to irritate Muslims.

In the same way, you do not hear a lot of sermons or read a lot of editorials expressing how important it is for Americans to respect the opinions of those burning American flags or carrying signs protesting gay rights at US soldiers' funerals.

Nothing positive is going to come from any act anywhere that was expressly designed to cheese people off. Not here, not there, not anywhere.

Absolutely Kimba the savagery from the violent parts of Islam gives Islam a bad name.
There is no other religion today that has such a large violence problem with daily worldwide headlines.

The people causing the trouble among Muslims at present are not the majority of Muslims, but a small extremist minority, similar to the skinheads and neonazis of Europe. These people have been repressed and jailed for decades, and have been recently released with the fall of the dictatorships that held them prisoners for so long.

SOME Muslim women, the wives of the elite, were quite westernized. Most were staying at home, invisible to the foreign press.
