When should a General be relieved of comand, what makes a good general, what is a good generals attitude?

Who should fire a general?

I suppose generals who win rapidly and lose the fewest troops are the best.

As for firing generals, that is the duty of their superiors, including the President, and each case is surely unique in some way or another.

I heard that NPR story, it was quite well done. Most commercial radio is just awful. Bad music, stupid gasbags and a zillion worthless ads.
