Yeah, right, the Socialist Party that is now running France is indistinguishable from Hitler.
Danes are only a step away from being jackbooted Sturmtroopers.

There is no Bingo.

sirs wants to play the part of the mole in Whack-A-Mole. He is a very inept and slow mole. This makes it more like "Strike a Sloth".

Yea, because that's the point that was being referenced..........NOT.  You do enjoy arguing points never made, doncha

There is no Bingo.

BIG TIME BINGO!!.....Socialism and facism are largly the same species. (not identical, and not some cloned Hitler regime).  The simularity (not identical, and not some cloned Hitler regime) is in the results achieved , which is very simular indeed

sirs wants to play the part of the mole in Whack-A-Mole.

Naaa, I most enoy playing whack-a-lib.  But you're right, doesn't take much.  1 fact here, another there, and the lib just drops off the table, kicking, screaming, and launching all kinds of 3rd grade slurs it can pull from their vocubulary

And another in a stellar string of Xo debating rhetoric.  Ignore all the substantive efforts, and throw garbage.  Bravo

Errant nonsense.  Fascism and Communism are opposite totalitarian movements.

Modern Socialism is democratic and has civilized modern Europe and ended poverty in many places there.

sirs can take his BINGO and shove it up his narrow White ass. There is no Bingo for sirs here or anywhere.

NOT, as Plane accurately referenced, they are largely the same species, in that their simularity is in the results achieved... complete control & loss of freedom, by a central authority

On a single line of spectrum running from very free to not free at all the USA with its complex semi democratic process hits just on the free side of the center.
Stalin's Russia and Hitlers Germany are close to the not free at all end of the scale with the distance between them that three sheets of paper couldn't get into.

There may be a hundred thousand findable diffrences, but they are like the diffrence between a Zebra and a Donkey, mostly unimportant.

Stalin is not typical of ANY Communist or Socialist government, except North Korea. President Obama is not a Socialist, not even of the good European variety.

There are many important differences between a donkey and a zebra. They are not similar in any practical way unless you plan to eat them.

I understand that Zebras are harder to tame , not that Donkeys are actually easy.
But they are simular enough to hybridise , which makes them fit my metaphore aptly.

If you want to mince it then Hitler is hardly the "tipical " fascist he was a lot more successfull than most and I can pick someone elese to point at and say they are more "tipical".

So you can choose Lenin or Mao and I can choose Mousoulini or Francisco Franco and we can be discussing more "tipical" leadership.

Pointless to do all this pointing, the equation remains the same , the best of the Facists were and are repressive and the better of the Communists are also.

So you can argue, if you please, that repeditive subtraction is diffrent from division, and it is , but the diffrent process is to the same end.

Zebras are not hard to tame, they are impossible to tame.

It makes no difference whether Stalin was worse than Hitler or vice versa. They are both dead.

The Nazis and Stalin repressed different people for different reasons, by the way.

Modern Democratic Socialism represses no one.

Socialism, by design, be it modern or old, represses everyone, made more so with Communism.  Which by the way, is largely the same results under a regime of Fascism.  All with the goal of complete control of how its country and citizenry is run, by a central authority

I really don't blame the Europeans at all. Did their grandfathers lay down their lives to defeat Hitler so that their "enlightened" politicians could give away their countries to foreigners right out from under their feet? When the fascists are the only parties standing up for the interests of the citizenry, it's no surprise they're winning elections. Fascists are the least of their worries. If the so-called "legitimate" political parties don't like it, maybe they need to start responding to the needs of their own citizens. If they don't, somebody will.
I speak of civil, social man under law, and no other.

Stalin is irrelevant, because Stalin is dead.
The same goes for Hitler.
