I hope we are smart enough to know by now.

A lot of the actual killing is theater too.

Done for our reaction to it.

It is a propaganda war, of course. All footage is suspect.

It used to be that they would interview the wounded Israeli victim and her entire family (always choosing English speakers),but then would add something like,"and later, thirteen Palestinians were reported killed", or something like that.

Yes , but even what is not phony, is theater.

Blood is being spilled on that stage , just so we can see.

People do not deliberately wound themselves so you can see blood.

The rocket attacks happened because Netanyahu ordered the assassination of a Hamas leader. That guaranteed another attack, and now BB can  look like a "war leader"and get reelected. He  manipulates everyone.Hamas would like to be so good at propaganda, but it is really not possible. The danger is that Netanyahu would bomb Aswan and let the US take the blame. I do not trust the SOB farther than I could throw him.

Yes they do.

But even more ,they will spill someone eleses blood just for the show.

Why does Hamas fire any rockets?

They have fired hundreds and so far have struck down one single IDF soldier, an hundred million dollars woth of military rocket expended and only one fatality to the armed opponent?

These rockets are not being fired for any military effect, they probly weaken the Palistenians more to maintain them than they weaken the IDF to catch them.

But it is a great firewooks show and gets them the attention, which is more important than wounding Isreal and certainly more important than spending an hundred million dollars on a water filtration plant or a nice big hospital.

Hamas is indeed choosing to wound itself to show the blood , but they also strike out to prick blood up on Isreal and the entire benefit and the only potential for benefit is that we will see the blood.

I agree that the rockets are ineffective, both as weapons and as propaganda tools. They do obviously make the Gazans feel better about someone doing something to avenge their mistreatment, but they really need to bone up on Gandhi. The Palestinians could win a well presented propaganda war, but Israel is a very formidable enemy and quite good at making their vile thievery look like God's Plan.

My opinion is unswayed by seeing anyone's blood.

Killing random civilians is not adequate vengeance, and fails as a productive form of terrorism.

As military artillery they are a complete failure , as propaganda tools they are a complete success.

If the Palestenians ever settle down and stop fighting ,peace might set in, then their cause will become forgotten, so they fight for the notice even if the notice is pretty expensive.

The rocket attacks happened because Netanyahu ordered the assassination of a Hamas leader.

and why was that?
was the Hamas leader past and present targeting Jewish civilians?
or was the Hamas leader a choir boy?

They would be a complete success if they caused public opinion to favor the Palestinians. They don't. Killing random civilians is ineffective.

They would be far more effective to use passive resistance techniques as Gandhi did. The rockets are a dumb idea. Israel obviously has a right to do all it can to prevent citizens from being hurt by rockets.

Assassination of a Hamas leader by the Israelis is every bit as illegitimate as the assassination of Netanyahu by Hamas. I am sure that assassinating BB would cause major mayhem by the Israelis.

==============================
Not being a choir boy is hardly a capital offense.

The Hamas leader was deliberately taken out AFTER the US elections and BEFORE the Israeli elections. The results were entirely predictable and the whole thing was obviously planned to get BB reelected.

Being a terrorist targeting civilians may get you killed.
And thankfully this POS is dead and cant target/kill any more civilians.
