Only eat to NEAR excess. Resist that extra slice of pie.

Pumpkin pie is one of my favorites, with whipped cream. My grandmother was an expert at pumpkin pie and fried chicken. But she died in 1962.

Her cooking was Eastern Kansas traditional, surely loaded with cholesterol, I am sure. But no one knew diddly about that. My grandfather died of a stroke in 1952. He was a jovial man who reminded me of Will Rogers. He was also a secret alcoholic(according to my Uncle Wyatt) and a heavy smoker, who smoked Wings cigarettes and gave me the cards that came in each pack.

Publix supermarkets make a pretty good pumpkin pie, but stillnot up tomy Gawmaw's.

I had TG dinner with my Silver Sneakers coach and his family, an ex tennis pro. The yams were to die for.

I have still never had a fried turkey, nor TurDuckIn, and probably never will.

If you want a laugh, check out the Turkey Frying videos on You Tube. A lot of disasters that are LOTS more funny because they happened to someone else.
