Obama selective memory
« on: December 20, 2012, 10:38:31 AM »
Over the weekend, the president was speaking and, really, when he got to his politics it was just stomach turning. There he is, in the middle of that little town and he named four instances where there were massacres.

But he left one out.

I immediately realized -- and my brother emailed me too -- what happened to Fort Hood?

How come he didn't mention Fort Hood? How come Obama did not mention Fort Hood where 13 human beings were slaughtered and there were several survivors. Because first of all, Fort Hood is a military enclave, it's a base. You can't have more control than that.

Number two, they had all kinds of rules of who can carry weapons and who can't there. And fortunately, a lot of men and women in uniform aren't allowed to carry weapons unless they're on duty. All kinds of gun control on that base.

But, number three, it had nothing to do with gun control. It had everything to do with political correctness run amok, costing the lives of 13 human beings.

So now the President is obliged to specifically mention incidents that sirs thinks he should?
The massacre at Ft Hood was the responsibility of the Army, and was not something that Congress could make less likely with legislation, anyway. If he HAD mentioned it, the surly sirs would likely have attacked him for overstepping the Army;s jurisdiction.

Because that is what sirs does. Petty blather on every pretext imaginable.

lol....and why am I the focus of this rant, when it was Cu4 who posted it, and BOTH plane & I agreeing with it??  Are you that myopic??

And you'd be ....drum roll....wrong again, as it relates to "sirs would have attacked him", had Obama mentioned Fort Hood

Still doesn't explain the irrational focus on me, when I didn't start the thread, and plane echoed exactly my agreement in it.  Perhaps you can put the doughnut down long enough to try and wiggle out of that one

The President does not overstep the Armys jurisdiction, the Army is a part of the Presidents jurisdiction.

Nonetheless, this is the sort of imbecilic complaint that one hears from the likes of sirs.

Naaa, that still doesn't work.  Still waiting to see why you threw all your wrath at me only, yet C was the originator of the thread, and Plane agreed with my agreement.  Are you that fixated on me....the poster you have repetitively stated shouldn't be bothered with, should be ignored, yada, blah, etc., yet you spend more time trying to insult, demean, and throw out grammar school insults at me, then any attempt at maintaining some civil debate.   :o

I know, let's see if you can back up anything.......what exactly is this "imbecilic complaint" in this thread, and what's an example of one that "sort of states that you hear from the likes" of me?
