The Left Starts Down the Road of Disarmed Surrender
« on: January 30, 2013, 07:00:59 PM »
I mean, if we're going to cherry pick moderate Republicans as "the right", might as well apply the same parameters, as it relates to the gun control debacle.  IIRC, Senators Mark Begich, Max Baucus, Kay Hagan, & Tim Johnson sure don't seem inclined to support Feinstein's emotional mess of a bill.  Must mean the left is surrendering on the notion of incrimental gun control.

Right?

I don't think you can draw any conclusions about what anyone thinks unless they comment on it or at least vote.

So where's the vote??  Democrats have a majority in the Senate.  Let's see it.

Let's see what?

I don't tell Congress when to vote. They would not obey me if I did. Stop the idiotic comments.

.

Mr literal strikes again.  Yea, like I really believed you had influence over Senator Reid.   ::)   The point being your comments about how I can't claim to know how senators are leaning without a vote is moot, if Senator Reid doesn't even put Feinstein's bill out for a vote.  Sorry, you can't have your cake & ice-cream too.  The senators I referenced have all been questioning Feinstein's bill, some with high ratings by the NRA

Mr perverted version of 2nd amendment cherry picked McCain as someone who represents "the right", based not on any vote, but on some rhetoric of his.  So, I'm applying the same parameters.  And those parameters are reinforced if Reid won't even bring the bill to the floor for a vote, when he has majority control in the Senate

Nothing idiotic about that, merely logic

See?....same brand of immaturity on display.  Screw objectivity, screw credibility, lets just throw personal jabs.....yea, that's sooooo much more mature than actually debate/discuss issues
