You want a deadly knife? Go to my friend and he'll make you a knife that real SEALs really use. Not some imported BS that calls itself a SEALs knife, or some "pocket knife" that's much too big for your pocket.

I have 6 of his knives:  http://www.treemanknives.com/tek9.asp?pg=products&grp=22

Hmmm,...

This link isn't working for me either now.

I thought this guy was over the top in love with his neto knife.

When I want a blade that size I buy a Columbian machete, they don't cost much and they are quite durable.

I have a lot of respect for craftsmen who make the very best from simple materials , but I can't a ,... but I can't afford everything I want .

If I carry a pocketknife I have to keep them short enough to carry on base, they can be pretty strict.

Okay, okay, already, it is a dangerous-looking knife. "Espada" is Spanish for "sword". I have problems calling this a "pocket knife". It is a tad big for most pockets.

You can kill someone with a four inch knife, after all. If you use an eight inch knife, they will not be twice as dead.

Fine if you like collecting knives and cultivating a Crocodile Dundee image. Not for me, though.

That knife is absurd and is produced to fan the fantasies of boys and very young men who have problems facing the world.

I agree, but it would still not be fun to be stuck with it. All a knife has to do is be sharp and pointy on the end to be useful as a weapon.

Actual commercial butcher knives need to be better than this sort of thing.

LIke the fantasy of gun nuts with dozens of guns for "self defense".

If one has two hands, two guns are all one can use at once, after all.

Only a very few trick shot experts can aim two guns, the point of having several is having one for each purpose , or, having interesting examples of each type.

Do you have this same criticism of art or antique collectors?

I own more than a few screwdrivers, though I seldom use them more than one at a time, it is good to have one the proper size for the screw, a long one and a short one and the one my dad gave me I never use anymore.

Screwdrivers are not, as you know, like guns.

Different screwdrivers are needed for different sorts of screws.

A gun used to defend one's self against other people is a one size fits all sort of thing.

Several guns make sense perhaps is one is hunting Elephants and Rhinoceri as well as squirrels and voles.

Not really.

I have never heard of anyone shooting voles, but a gun has to meet certain requirements for leagally hunting deer, and a gun leagal for hunting deer is generally too large for squirrels, and a gun ideal for killing a deer without wasting a lot of meat is probly too small for hunting bear. A gun should be well adapted to the target.

A gun should also be well adapted to its user, people come in many sizes and the requirement of accuracy is best met by a gun that is right sized to your grip ,eyesight and tolerance for recoil.

A mismatch in the gun and the requirements for it can result in an unsatisfying result, there used to be a bullet brand that advertised satisfaction or your money back, and the background to this text was a fourious bear very close to the camera, I thought this was hilarious.

.

In what respect are screwdrivers not like guns?

Not that I want to bring a screwdriver to a gun fight.

But I want to precicely point out that there is simularity , and the respects that they are diffrent in are not features that advance your argument.

You cannot use a phillips screwdriver on a square drive or slotted screw.

If you shoot someone with any gun, it will wound them or kill them.

That is why they are different.

Any fool should be able to see that.

I can use the wrong screwdriver, if I don't mind ruining the screw and perhaps even the screwdriver.

Some guns do not fit every user and some do not fit every target.

Would you use a shotgun on a distant target?

Would you use a Cashul .500 if you had to be shooting all day?

Would you use a small  old .38 to hunt bear?

Would you use a .22 to defend yourself from a human attacker?

Wait wait wait!

I see what you mean!

I am so wrong.

All guns are the same sort of wepon , laws that seek to forbid certain classes of assault wepon are therefore entirely mooted.

Thank you XO , I might not have realised this without the help.
