Iran, Hezbollah, Assad, and most importantly Russia/Putin are "all in"
Now Washington is talking enforcing a "No Fly Zone"
we could quickly have Russian anti-aircraft batteries vs US Fighter jets
not good.....a dangerous situation is developing
and it all goes back to the fact this is not simply a "civil war" among Syrians
these players would not be "all in" for some typical civil war among Syrians
this is a huge geo-political game-changing situation war

The Lebaneese wound up with a Syrian approved Hezbolla force being an important force , such that they could hardly choose their own government .

Syrians may not want this to happen , but what can they do when every faction is depending of forign supplys and some of them are relying on imported troops?

It might not be worse than Assad to be ruled from afar, we shall have to wait and see what they wind up with.

Lebanon is a small and puny nation that was devastated by a long civil war. Hezbollah has influence there, but does not run the country.
Hezbollah, a Lebanese organization cannot control its own tiny country, how can it hope to control Syria, a much larger country.

Syrians will end up ruling Syria. We just don't know which ones.

Syria is also puny in comparison to some of the contributors of ammunition, Iran is sending a regiment soon , they could probly afford to send several more, perhaps with strings attached.
