I'm guessing with Moore, he had no problem with how the Justice Dept targeted Fox News, the IRS targeting conservative organizations, and that the NSA has been listening to...."everyone".  I think its more along the lines of  Foreign policy, in how Gitmo is still very much alive and functional, drone and military use have been on a constant increase, despite the "winding down" of the wars, and now we're arming Syrian rebels, which of course means that Russia is now obligated to better arm the Syrian Government

Just a guess

Obama has been a huge disappointment to many of his supporters on the left.

That seems to be the common complaint.

Perhaps some of these expectations were so unrealistic as to be impossible?

Close Git mo , OK, and the inmates there are going to evaporate or become harmless?

Socialised medicine, well he did try, but he was depending on the US Congress to write a coherent document and this turns out to be an unrealistic expectation.

End all wars, bring about peace and love. Unilaterally! Hey why wait lets give him the Nobel peace prize while young people still remember that there was such a thing as war.

I don't think that my best choice of conservative president would have wrought conservative miracles, I have conservative expectations.

Perhaps the expectations were emotion driven.
Maybe even faith based.
