      Chuck says there was no contract, the firm suing him says services rendered should not be free even if there was no written contract.

      Since he is accused of not paying his lawyer bill, it isn't strange that he doesn't have a lawyer now.

      I am kinda sad about this story, I like Chuck Yeager.

Chuck Yeager is 91 years old. These lawyers don't seem to have done him any good, so I fail to see why he should pay them the  exorbitant amount mentioned.  Like you, I like Chuck Yeager and think the lawyers should go suck an egg.
