Air traffic in 24 hour loop
« on: September 05, 2014, 06:49:11 PM »
This video was emailed in to Heart 107.3.

You may have seen it before, but for those who haven't, it's a pretty cool video showing world air traffic.

Not only do you get to see all the planes in the world over a 24 hour period, you see the light of the day
moving from the east to the west, as the Earth spins on its axis.

That is very interesting. I was surprised to see how much traffic there is over China, as compared to India and South America.

I always find it interesting to see how many islands there are in the Bahamas. Some are very scantily populated, like Andros, which is larger than all the rest put together, others seem to be unpopulated, with no roads at all.
