How do you know the Chamber of Commerce is "good"?

The National Chamber of Commerce is not good at all. It's fuckin' evil.

Woah........ what a bad attitude.

If the CoC were to leave entirely how much would the city benefit?

The Chamber of Commerce is an association of business owners. Businesses pay dues and are certainly not required to join it.
THE National Chamber of Commerce is related to the local organizations, but is mostly run buy huge businesses for their own financial benefit.

I do not believe that the average citizen of Ferguson would be harmed in the least if the Chamber of Commerce were to vanish from their city.
Do not confuse the C of C with the Jaycees, by the way. Occasionally they contribute to kids sports teams and useful charities.

And why would it need to vanish?  What ghastly evil thing have they done, to warrant such abolishment

The Chamber of Commerce is an association of businesses. It is not necessary for businesses to join it, or to be associated, nor is it the only association of businesses that exists.

So, in other words there's nothing evil about them, outside of the freedom to choose to combine their talents, thoughts, and resources to better improve both businesses and employment opportunities.  Nor is anyone mandated to be a part of their efforts.  Gads, those bastards      ::)

The real bastards are the national organization.  To the degree that it gets funds from the local groups, it is not an organization that promotes anything positive for the majority of people of this country. Like the Satanists, it has a right to exist.

The real bastards are the national organization.

Yea, how dare they organize and pool their resources, like...let's say....national unions   ::)   Yet unlike unions, they don't mandate compliance or even joining.  Those bastards
