Seriously......why do we have laws??
« on: January 28, 2015, 07:11:04 PM »
What sets this country so far ahead of others is our rule of law.  Laws that make it clear what is and isn't acceptable, what is and isn't legal, what is and is not to be enforced

This ongoing erosion of the rule of law, pushed by liberals is not just nauseating, its dangerous.  Our new AG-want-to-be apparently believes that those who illegally have entered our country have a "right" to work here.  Seriously.  She, as pending "Chief Law Enforcement Executive" apparently supports a lawless government and unemployed USA citizens over a government that honors its existing laws.

Screw the law and Constitution, only arbitrary power rules the land     >:(

They have a right not to starve, and there is no way that 11 million people can or even will be deported.

President Obama has done all he can to address the situation and the Republican'ts, who have no plan and zero solutions, are doing nothing and it does not appear that they ever will do anything. They have no plan, they have no brains, they have no guts.

They could do something to address immigration, but they won't.

So write your Congressman and stop bitching, sirs. You are a bore.

They have a right not to starve,

Does this mean there is a right to hunt , fish or practice agriculture, or does this mean there is a right to demand to be fed?

Is it harder to move 11 million people South than it is to move 11 million people North?

Perhaps the easiest solution would be to conquer Mexico and make all of them US citizens. Then their right to move interstate would be absolute.

It might even be pretty neat to have Jalisco as a state.

Shoehorning a bunch of stars on the flag is a small problem, how many states do you suppose Mexico should make? It is too big for just one , but the more it is split the more they would influence the Senate.

No, they don't.  No one has a "right" not to starve.  We should do what we can to help those who are in need, but there is no such "right".  We're not the world's bank

and there is no way that 11 million people can or even will be deported.

Nor is anyone proposing that

President Obama has done all he can to...

...to help perpetuate a poverty driven sector of society, completely in need of ever expanding Government assistance.  THAT's what he's done all he can do.  Has even did exactly what he said he couldn't do, usurped the Constitution to do so.  You keep making my case.  The left could care less about our laws.  If the law gets in the way of some perceived "need", instead of of new law or rewriting exiting law, we simply ignore the law.  Arbitrary power should rule the land, so declares the liberal left     >:(

EVERY Republican, and any Rational/Objective Democrat, sitting as a Legislative member of congress should be voting down this candidate who, while running to be our Chief LAW ENFORCEMENT officer, has made it clear, that our laws don't matter, that the Legislative Branch doesn't matter...that what only matters is arbitrary power dictcated by those who simply know better

The precedent that would be set, with the passing of this nominee pretty much does this country in, where we no longer are a nation of laws.  Not because of her, as a person, or of her race, but because of the mindest she's exempifying, and pushed by those in power on the left

Your hero Reagan gave actual amnesty to several million people.

Since we won't be deporting 11 million people, then it makes perfect sense to let those among the 11 million know how not to be deported, which is precisely what our President has done.

Of course, if the Republican'ts in Congress do not like this, they can pass an actual law, which they seem to have no desire to do, since apparently they prefer the status quo.

They gave Rubio & McCain the task of coming up with a proposed law, and then they turned on him and his suggestions and shot it down. This is because they are not competent to run the country.

Perhaps they plan to win the presidency in 2016 by outspending the Democrats and carpetbombing the media like Rick Scott did here in Florida. But the fact is that in 2016 there will be a greater percentage of Latinos and Asians and they have no reason not to mistrust the Republican'ts.

One of the few bad things he did, although he did it with the promise by Democrats they would do a far more superior job at securing the border.  We're getting used to how Democrats promise what they need to, in order to push their agenda, all the while with no intention of actually fulfilling their promises.  In this case, that's not even being considered

wrong, wrong, wrong.  Laws are laws.  You don't show folks how to avoid the law, and you sure as hell don't support a nominee for chief law enforcment officer, who has decided to arbitrarily ignore our laws.  You don't like the law, you elect representatives to the legislature to rewrite the law.  That's how Democracy works.  That's how a representative republic works.  That's how our country is supposed to work

Since we won't be deporting 11 million people, .......
Why not? if eleven million people refused to pay taxes would the government stop collecting taxes? If eleven million people stole a car would the police stop trying to stop theft? If it is not a good idea to consider Mexico a separate country , then we should be administering and taxing Mexico. The citizens of Mexico being a sept of the USA. Deporting eleven million is not impossible , and it won't all be done in one month.

This seems to be the point of inviting so many to come in, since the Democrats are not popular with the electorate they have , they will change the electorate and get the votes of the grateful illegals.

Federal records show, that from 2009-2014 the U.S. Citizen and Immigration Services issued 5,461,568 new work permits to immigrants, beyond the 1.1 million legal immigrants and 700,000 guest workers admitted to the U.S. each year.

CIS laid out three categories of immigrants who received work authorization under what the group is calling a “shadow” system:
 •
Approximately 1.8 million new work permits were issued to aliens with temporary visas or who entered under the visa waiver program. Of these, about 1.2 million (67%) had a visa status for which employment is not authorized by law, such as foreign students and independents of guest workers.

About 982,000 new work permits issued to illegal aliens or aliens unqualified for admission. Of these, 957,000 were aliens who crossed the border illegally (Entered Without Inspection). Inexplicably, 1,200 new work permits were issued to aliens who were denied asylum, were suspected of using fraudulent documents, were stowaways, or were refused at a port of entry.

About 1.7 million, were issued to aliens whose status was unknown, not recorded by the adjudicator, or not disclosed by U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), the agency that processes the applications.

“I was astonished at the huge number of work permits that are being issued by the Obama administration outside the legal immigration system through executive discretion, especially at a time of high unemployment and stagnant wages,” Jessica Vaughan, CIS’ director of policy studies, said Monday. “Besides the effect on the American worker, it encourages and rewards more illegal immigration.”

Who care about stinking laws....laws are so overrated, right??  Clear limit of 1.1 million, and 700thousand guest workers?  Frak those laws, right?  I guess I should be looking forward to when the next Republican President decides we no longer need to enforce various tax laws & enviromental laws
