Most smokers do (enjoy smoking), but most smokers also knew the risks involved in smoking

i predict as the government gets more and more involved in healthcare
smoking along with other destructive habits will surely become targets
i would think due to ObamaCare smoking will be virtually non-existent by law within 25 years

as someone who has done abit of travel. I say he made it there faster than most. Give the man some slack . the funeral happened within a few days after he died, under that time table I more likely would of been days late instead of  hours.

I find this behavior from the fans unacceptable.

I forgot about that. Since I personally done two funerals and  know how involved it is. I just assumed everybody else took just as long.
The logictics of such a time frame should expect a small turnout. Shatner even pointed out the flaw about people refusing to factor available planes.

Personally when i kick it. I say chuck my carcass in a wood chipper at the park in the night. Don't bother with a funeral at all. The whole process has been a big turnoff to me.

Kimba lots of people are going with cremation these days to save money. I am more traditional and when I croak I want a traditional burial. I met with the funeral home recently and will start a pre-payment plan this summer. I even had them draw up my headstone so I can keep it in a file. Yeah it's a bit of a waste of money.....but heck I want a nice good-bye party!

I`m not against a old fashion funeral but us average folks are being priced out. but I`m more focus on the process of getting people to attend and the understanding for people who can`t make it. I truly don`t care for this no excuse attitude. I see this for funerals and marraiges. I been thinking about this ever since a facebook announcement for a friends of mines funeral and a buddy of mine got flak for being late and I had to explain the only reason he even showed up is because I informed him . people for some reason refused to believe facebook wall announcement do not always reach everyone and never has.

looks to me people just want the lamest excuse to complain.

If they were to succeed in protesting the funeral it would incur the full wrath of trek fans world wide. I kinda want to see what would happen.
