Non leathal but deadly expensive

At auction you can get this gun that shoots plastic pellets in a stream that will discourage an attacker , or annoy him a lot.

If someone is breaking into your home does he deserve the benefit of the doubt about whether he means harm or is harmless?

Would you really want a wepon that causes pain but not more harm than small bruses?

A much cheaper pistol can much more certainly halt an attack with wounds of much greater consequence.

Besides ,this pellet gun might put your eye out.

I've got a Glock and will use it, if threatened.

If Bernard Goetz would have been a better shot, it is said by some that his legal squabbles might have been a lot less complex.

BTW, I see the eBay seller is called "snake gunner". How appropriate! :-)

it`s not the intruder you got to worry about it`s the family.
unless you took gun safety training the chances of someone shooting a family member is very high.
eveysingle cop i knew saw more than a couple of gun accident in the home.
it`s not exactly impossible for a parent to accidentally shoot they`re own kid.
it`s very easy actually.

Well added, Kimba.  Taking Firearms safety courses is definately a good idea.  I've taken several, and it indeed helps the mindset in dealing with a stressful situation, while handling a firearm.  Of course, nothing can prepare anyone for such an event, but by taking such courses, it does lessen the potential harm to family, while maximizing the harm towards the intruder

It depends. In some states if you meet the intruder with more force than was reasonably warranted you may very well be the one who ends up in prison.
I smell something burning, hope it's just my brains.
They're only dropping peppermints and daisy-chains
So stuff my nose with garlic
   Coat my eyes with butter
   Fill my ears with silver
   Stick my legs in plaster
   Tell me lies about Vietnam.

Too bad. If someone is inside your home and posing a danger to you and/or your family, it is YOU who should decide, not the authorities. Oh well...
