Chattanooga Marine Veteran's Direct Address to Mr. Obama
« on: July 28, 2015, 01:56:16 PM »
A U.S. Marine offered President Barack Obama a tough lesson in what it means to show respect for his fallen brothers-in-arms.

In the 11 minute video, the unnamed veteran, who said he is from Chattanooga, first called out the president on the manner he chose to speak following the Chattanooga shootings.

"The day of the attack, you delivered a statement. You didn't even have the decency to stand up," he said.

The Marine then ticked off a list of shootings or deaths that Obama did stand up for while he spoke to the nation, including the Charleston shooting, the Boston bombings, the Baltimore riots, Michael Brown?s death, and the Washington Naval Yard shooting. He even stood up when singer Whitney Houston passed.

Rather than standing out of a sign of respect for the warriors who just gave their lives in military service to their country, "You sit slumped down in a chair and ramble through some poorly scripted apology that sounds as sincere as "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor," he stated.

So now POSTURE is a big deal?

REALLY?  POSTURE!

Our next Hymn will be No. 156 in your Hymnal, "Stand Up, Stand Up for Jesus"
(the congregation will remain seated)

In the military, posture is a HUGE deal.  And as COMMANDER & CHIEF of the military, it is a HUGE deal

But this isn't even about posture.....its the fact he was sitting, in the face of military service men who just lost their lives.  He managed to stand & pay condolences to a thug who was shot attacking a police officer, but can't manage to stand for military personel who simply were the victims of a terrorist's shooting spree??

So yea, Really

Come on XO....the families and all the military are watching....it would be respectful for the President to be sincere and show some respect. These people were slaughtered.

It is absurd to talk about the president's posture.
He did not slaughter anyone.
He is actually against insane nuts owning guns, while to you it is a right.

Obama is president and will continue to serve until his term is over. His posture is is no importance other than to the obsessed Obamahaters, of which you are one.

But you can bet, if the Marine guards at the White House don't snap to attention and render a proper salute at his approach, they won't remain Marine guards at the White House very long. Most likely, they'll be pacing a rather small cell at Quantico.

No.

He is against his Marines and regular law abiding people having guns.

The insane and the criminal are not deterred by law.

But Marines that are obedient find themselves empty handed in the face of well armed lawbreakers.

I am proud of the Marine that returned fire , even though he was disobedient to do so.

Disobedience is unusual in Marines, but when the law is stupid enough, it shall be disobeyed , even by the always faithful.

Is President Obama going to end the policy of no guns in recruiting stations and other military installations that could be attacked this easily?

If he does not , it is because he is stupid.

The President did not make the decision for recruiters to be unarmed. That was a decision made long ago by the military itself, probably becausae it was to comply with Posse Comitatus laws, that say that the military cannot act as police.

Thos is a petty, petty complaint, without a shred of sense. You dorks should be ashamed of yourselves.

Hateobama, hateObama, hateObama, day and nighg night and day from before he was even elected.

  Yes that is true .

But he is commander in chief NOW and has a chance to be smarter than his predecessors.

Given the track record so far, I wouldn't count on it

Obama is many, many times smarter than you.
Based on the saying "It takes one to know one", you do not know President Obama.

I does not matter one whit what President Obama does. It will always be wrong so far as sirs is concerned. Even his posture can be lambasted for hours on end. I think that this is a very foolish and juvenile topic.  I do not see any possibility that the President deliberately remained seated as a way of insulting any Marines.
