Sleeze factor
« on: August 01, 2015, 05:56:32 PM »
http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/top-clinton-aide-accused-of-receiving-overpayments-at-state-dept/ar-BBlhoI1

One of Hillary Clintons aides is accused of cheating the time clock.

In a way that makes it look as if Hillary was helping her do it.

An hour off early now and then would not be worthy of notice, this might be quite a bit more.

Is Hillary heading an organization with a culture that reflects her character?

Or is this much ado about nothing , to pile on the large heap of previous ado.

On a general scummy meter, the Clintons generally rate 9 out of 10 (Hillary being an 8, and Bill an 11)

So, according to you, Bill Clinton is more corrupt that it is possible for a person to be.

He does not come within miles of the corruption of Nigerian and Conglese politicians.

All he has done recently is take money for giving speeches, and the both he and the people who paid him were agreed on the price. I fail to see how that is any sort of corruption at all. Clinton has not received a total of bribes that were a fraction of what the government paid for Ken Starr to mess with him.

No, according to me, this has little to do with the specificity of corruption, and far more about the overall sleeze/scummy factor.  For those who can read for context, minus the erroneous intent blinders, would have grasped that.

You don't make sense.

On a scale of one to ten, no one rates 11.
No one can give more than 100%

There are people in this world that make Clinton look like a saint in comparison.

No, I make perfect sense.  You're the one purposely trying to make it not make sense, then claim it doesn't.  I never said one wit about corruption.  I said, and I quote "On a general scummy meter, the Clintons generally rate 9 out of 10 (Hillary being an 8, and Bill an 11).  Somehow, you made that into some specific corruption accusation

And the 11 is a rhetorical reference of "being off the chart".  People use that reference frequently.  When I'm at the hospital, and I ask the patient what their pain is, on a scale of 1-10, and they tell me a 12, I understand clearly that they're conveying that there pain is out of control, and not that they don't know what the question is

Again, people who grasp context & the English language, understand this.  People who can't defend the indefensible, are left to argue points, no one is making

Do you possess a general scummy meter?

I realize that you have rather an inordinate amount of scum, but I did not think you had the competence to go Pro on us.

I don't posses any meter Dr Deflection.  Rational human beings with standard comprehension skills can, and frequently do rate all kinds of things, which can include people, and can be 100% subjective,  such as a pain scale.  If I were to rate you on such a scale, I could see you rating a 12, as being quite a pain.     ;)

Your sale is simply dumb, and claiming that Clinton of anyone is so corrupt that he exceeds 100% corruption is dumber still, sirs.
I can't think of anything that Bill Clinton did that was corrupt in the sense that he took money from the taxpayers for his personal use.
The Monica affair was  poor judgement, but is was not any sort of Boss Tweed like classic corruption.

And again with the non-existent corruption references.  Perhaps you need glasses

You know what you claimed. It is dumb, Go read it again, I am sure it is still dumb.]]

I could ask you a snide question and complain about how you were unable to answer it, but that would also be dumb, and I am not entering the Dumbness Derby, as I know I would lose and I would find that unpleasant and futile.

Yea, I also know how to read.  Please point out to the class where I initiated or used the term corruption.  Here's a hint...it's spelled c o r r u p t i o n.  Good luck with that
