The latest on the Benghazi Committee & Clinton
« on: October 23, 2015, 03:05:32 AM »
So, what did we learn, following Clinton's performance?

- NO, its never been about how Obama or Clinton was the cause of the terrorist attack
- Yes, it was political in nature.  Then again, everything in DC is political
- Democrats crying that the cost to tax payers was some whopping 5 Million is laughable, when a mere 5 Obama vacations cost tax payers more, not to mention the exponentially more millions spent by Democrat run committees under Bush & Reagan investigations
- Pretty low to try and literally blame Stevens for his own death in claiming how he chose to take this position, in a known dangerous location.  Literally implying that he "had it coming"
- Yes, we finally came across a smoking gun email, that she never had turned over, when it was requested over 2 years ago, until just now, having apparently been unable to delete it completely.....the ones that made it crystal clear that despite all the effort, for weeks, to blame some obscure video as the spark to the protest/attack, Clinton (& Obama) KNEW this was a terrorist attack, FROM THE BEGINNING

It's always the cover-up

Had Obama & Clinton been up front with this, they could have saved the tax payers over 4 million dollars.  But NOOOOO, they had to try and cover their asses, at the severe lack of responding to the repeated requests for more security.  Hundreds of them.  Lots of fruit for the pending GOP nominee to paint Clinton with just how incompetent her record has been, in a leadership role, especially as SoS.

So, what did we learn, following Clinton's performance?

Not a single person was fired or even lost a paycheck over this disaster and
failure to protect our Ambassador after multiple requests for additional security measures.

Who was fired over 9-11?  Condi Rice got a promotion. Tenet got a Medal of Freedom.

This is a meaningless waste of money, useful only as a .ploy to discredit Hillary.

It means nothing to anyone except those who will vote for whatever dolt the REpublicans nominate.

Bill Clinton should have been sent to prison over it,
because Slick Willy was too busy getting blow-jobs in the oval office
and didn't kill Bin Laden when he had the chance.
9/11 never happens if Bin Laden had been eliminated.

Who was fired over 9-11?

For what??  What was the overt incompetence that anyone demonstrated??  Simply happening isn't enough I'm afraid.  There has to be a clear picture of of what Condi or Tenet ignored

There has to be a clear picture of of what Condi or Tenet ignored

The fact that there was an effort to bring down the Twin Towers before. It was well known that Arabic-speaking terrorists had highjacked airliners before.
Rice and Tenet were not doing their jobs. It was more certain that an attack on the WTC was more likely than on any consulate in Libya.

Their incompetence did NOT merit a promotion and a medal.

You haven't demonstrated where there was overt incompetence.  Where's the smoking gun that demonstrated what they either overtly ignored or worse, tried to cover up??

It is unimportant. No matter what caused the attack on the ambassador, ther4e was nothing that Clinton could have done to prevent it, since it was unexpected.
This is just a stupid witch hunt and it is meaningful only to Hillary haters who would never vote for her anyway.

If you want to discuss incompetence that resulted in deaths, 9-11 is far more important, because far more people were killed..

It's only unimportant to die hard Democrats.  You'd be singing a far different toon, if the parties were reversed.

And again, the point is there WERE things that could have been done to prevent this attack...HAD CLINTON, and her State Dept been a tad more compotent in heeding Stevens' repeated requests for added security.  IT WAS THE ANNIVERSARY OF 911 FOR CRYING OUT LOUD.  Of course, it could have been anticipated, if not expected

So....when are you going to demonstrate this smoking gun of incompetence behind 911??  There was no "911" before that, to anticipate an imminent attack.  Where's all these documents that showcase a pending attack that went completely ignored??  Where's the evidence of any cover-up??

    This is a good comparison.

9-11 was a collection of mistakes , as any enemy success is prone to be.

After 9-11 did the President and the Secretary of State blame the victims , search for scapegoats and make up whoppers to deflect culpability?

Do we need a third term of scapegoat ranching?
