No surprise here.....no charges
« on: October 23, 2015, 05:36:40 PM »
After a two-year investigation into whether the IRS knowingly targeted conservative groups, the Justice Department will not bring charges against IRS official Lois Lerner and the larger agency. Although officials found rampant 'mismanagement' within the IRS, that does mean it is guilty of criminal activity, the DOJ concluded:

"We found no evidence that any IRS official acted based on political, discriminatory, corrupt, or other inappropriate motives that would support a criminal prosecution," Assistant Attorney General Peter Kadzik said in the letter. "We also found no evidence that any official involved in the handling of tax-exempt applications or IRS leadership attempted to obstruct justice. Based on the evidence developed in this investigation and the recommendation of experienced career prosecutors and supervising attorneys at the department, we are closing our investigation and will not seek any criminal charges."

Now....let's make a couple of quick adjustements to predict what the status of the Clinton investigation will conclude:

"We found no evidence that the SoS or any other State official acted based on political, discriminatory, corrupt, or other inappropriate motives that would support a criminal prosecution.  We also found no evidence that any official involved in the handling of security decisions or State leadership attempted to obstruct justice. Based on the evidence developed in this investigation and the recommendation of experienced career prosecutors and supervising attorneys at the department, we are closing our investigation and will not seek any criminal charges."

It is amazing, when you consider the apoplectic outrage the left and media gave the Bush administration, when Ashcroft was in charge of the Justice Dept.....responsible for investigating any allegations aimed at the executive office.  And there would be some credence to that, which is why an Indep arm could/should be called upon.

But when its the left.....utter silence in the clear conflict of interest

And no, professor deflection, this has nothing to do with sirs seeking symmetry.  It's sirs seeking accountability, honesty, & credibility

Last night, I caught a bit of a news show discussing the Clinton hearing, and the liberal Dem on the panel, when shown over and over and over, Clinton's own words that made it clear she knew it was a terrorist attack, despite going on and on and on, and lying about some video as the spark for the Benghazi attack, his response was "agast"...in how he couldn't understand how the others couldn't acknowledge that this is just how Washington works.  He was literally justifying Clinton's actions, because......its just the way DC functions, and that he was "shocked' how the others just couldn't see that.

Scary

The Tea Party groups are all political and  therefore do not qualify for exemptions as non profit organizations. Common Cause, GreenAmerica  and Public Citizen do not qualify, so why should some bunch or teabaggers?

NAACP is political.....where are your demands that they be stripped of their exemption status??  Same with Rainbow Bush.  Same with the NEA, and every other Public Sector Union, that conributes 95+% to Democrat politicians, propositions, and party.  They're just as, if not more political than any Tea Party function

The point here, is that the conclusion even confirms criminal activity, and the IRS, supported by Obama has stated that there should NOT have been any targeting of any Conservative group.  And yet there you are decrying how whatever criminal activity was performed, was justified, because......apparently because they didn't support Obama's & the Democrats' master plans in fundamentally changing how the country works
