Recently somebody photoshopped a picture of a canadian sihk as the bomber in paris and he's now fearing for his life.

I notice alot of people dont really care if indians are not muslims and still think thier terrorist connected. Meaning we have the make ngs of creating more enemies

Muslims are not required to wear turbans, Sikhs are, because the men ever cut their hair, and the turban is part of the way to keep 15 ft of hair under control.  Turbans are considered antiquated by most Sunni Muslims They were popular in Ottoman times, and the Ottomans are no longer running anything.

The problem with the words "radical Islam" is than no possible translation of these words sounds to Arabic speakers as a truly bad thing.

Something like the term "observant Jews" is used to describe fanatics who break the windshields of cars they see being driven on the Sabbath.

This is a propaganda war and therefore it must be fought in several languages. The State Department has translators who understand how the President's statements will be translated, and therefore he avoids using phrases that will be translated in such a way as it sounds like he hates Mohammad's words.
