There are many, and they are competitive. TIAA CREF and Franklin Electric are two that come to mind. German corporations are much more democratic, by law. The same is true in many other European countries.

Then I hope that they outcompete the more dictatorial.

Every company and every government agency has a sort of culture, some better some worse.

All else being equal I would prefer to patronize a business that was better to its employees.

All else is seldom equal, so , how much would I travel further and pay more to patronize a nicer business?

That is up to you.

Most of the time, we do not know who or what owns the stores we patronize.

Budweiser belongs to a huge Belgian conglomerate, but they are still selling beer with Red White and Blue  labels. Unlikely they will become red, yellow and Black anytime soon.

I don't think Belgians would be pleased for the world to know that  they have anything to do with Bud Lite.

True , only the egregious ever get a real boycott .

But bad press dependably trims down the margins.

And there are a good number of investors who want to invest in stuff compatible with their own morals.
