Innovation is a whole other topic. America by nature will be great at it. It's history is rich in it. I remember a talk about the 13 colonies and how long it will take to expand to rest of the country and the growth was actually alot more faster than calculated by a very large margin. The environment is just right for it at the moment. But other countries are learning China recently started a scifi convention and some serious books are getting attention here. If you ever being to a hong kong market your not gonna find more motivated people for innovation. Here in America we're starting to find problems in getting products out there. Notice your losing confidence in the word start up. It's common now for companies to have a great idea/product then close shop and sell your patent thst will never see light of day. It's the reason you don't see that many varieties of product out there today. We have innovation but the business culture is under cutting it.

School has a lot to do with innovation, because without math skills, you cannot handle money effectively. Without language skills, you cannot promote your product effectively.

In Miami, Colombians and Argentines start more businesses, followed by Cubans. Central Americans and Dominicans generally start restaurants, and most of them last a couple of years before they vanish. Venezuelans tend to be silent investors, putting up capital and letting others do the actual work.

the restaurant business is one of the hardest business to keep. The more exotic the hardest. Burgers and wings seems fair better than most. In culinary school all has a require section on finance. We're talking about a business that has an shelf life on it's inventory and the you will get waste which will come out of your pocket. The pace is quite insane. You'll develope eating disorder from it. I eat like a prisoner and barely chew many of my friends eatvlike that also. If you ever see a friend eats superfast most likely that person worked in a restaurant
