He is a race team player , to the point of being a team captain.
When there was doubt that Mr. Zimmerman was guilty or innocent his comment was that the "victim" could have looked like his son. It is a strenuous mental exercise to consider this remark anything other than racist.
Why did he need a beer summit with a policeman and a homeowner that was rousted in his home? Because he had said something stupidly racist , he needed the beer summit.
There may be a lot of racists worse than President Obama but as the highest placed racist his racism makes the most difference.
I would not vote for a white man who might say that someone had to look like one of his children to be protected by the law , or that black policemen could not be allowed to arrest any white person in error.
I am trying a lot harder than Barak Obama is, to avoid racism.
