Black Lives Matter is the opposite of what many Black people see evidence of: Blacks being treated as less than Whites, being stopped in traffic more often, more likely to get a fine than a warning, more likely to get gunned down by cops. There is a loT of evidence that this happens.

When someone counters the slogan "Black Lives Matter" with "All Lives Matter" they interpret this as support for an unacceptable status quo. And very often, that is precisely what White folks who say this mean: continue to ignore the rights of Black people.

BLACK LIVES MATTER is a movement to change the Status quo, which has demonstrably been BLACK LIVES MATTER THAN WHITE LIVES .

The city of Ferguson used the cops to ticket Black residents far more than others in order to pay the city's bills and salaries.

Drug use is about the same for Blacks and Whites, but Blacks get arrested more often and are penalized more severely for it.

WHITE LIVES MATTER is simply the slogan of  people who want the status quo to continue. Like the old farts who wave the Confederate Battle Flag to deliberately annoy Black folks and then claim that they are "celebrating their proud heritage".

I did not say, please note, that disruption of a public speech is not offensive. That is a different issue.

But to focus on the status quo has backed fired since making seemingly it a black only issuse now. Now it's an issue of clarity.  It's quite obvious police tactics needs to be addressed but the racial focus has made the police the the other victim that public can openly support

BLACK LIVES MATTER is a movement to push racial intolerance, where one race (black race, in this instance) is to be treated with hypersensitive rhetorical gloves, and anything that doesn't support that notion, must be a racially intolerant.  That is the definition of racist.  Simply swap black for white to note how spot on that is

There is no slogan of White lives matter.  The counter is that ALL LIVES MATTER is in ALL LIVES MATTER.....BLACKS, BROWNS, WHITES, LAVENDER.  It's the concept that MLK embraced, where people are judged by their character, not skin color, and if still alive, would have probably killed himself in witnessing how his movement has been turned completely polar opposite by race baiters & hustlers

as i said it`s backfiring . the police are not arresting people or being proactive and crime has gone up in these areas. some will counter this maybe proof thier only arresting blacks but it`s more of officers duties are greatly undermined from now on and is finding out how to arrest people. still a shifting of blame on the officers.

it is a valid claim that some officers are being abusive but by making it specific solutions are not being made

You're absolutely right Kimba.....and in more ways than you've already expanded on.  Blacks now being convinced their justified in any actions they take, even illegal, even against the police, merely if they believe themselves to be being disrespected.  Police now NOT compelled to to their job, when called to go into a dangerous situation, for fear of both legal and physical repercussions....and so the crime gets worse

And to top it off, you get these idiots who are boldly implying how no other races really matter, only Blacks.  And if one doesn't support that, they're the racists??  And up is now down, wrong is now right, immoral is now moral, while MLK rolls in his grave at the mutation of all he preached
