http://www.city-data.com/blog/3965-taller-people-earn-more-money/There is a wage gap , bigger than the gender wage gap, between the ten percent tallest and the ten percent shortest .
I am afraid there is an attractiveness gap as well.
There is even a danger gap , as smaller people get attacked with violence more often than larger people.
When the job is equal , the social problems might still not be ,ugly, small, female, black policewomen have a stack of disadvantages at the same pay as a tall ,handsome, male ,white policeman.
Then the tall , handsome, male , white policeman with hardly any awareness of his advantage has better promotion potential not just because of his pale stature and pleasing visage, but because his work history has less trouble in it.
So...
Would it be fair to correct pay with a matrix of advantages given to the disadvantaged?
Especially for jobs like police work where the attitude of the public is of such strong effect.
