Both sides agreed, but for different reasons. Obama did not mind.

It is hard for me to accept that the same word or deed is good for you to use and bad for me to use, because you have read my mind and know I don't mean as well as you do.

Isn't that neat, how that works?

Well I do get the concept.

Kaiser Wilhelm famously called the Army of Britain a "contemptible little army"  , for the rest of the war the British Army refereed to itself , whole and individually, as the old contemptible.

Then they stubbornly held the line alongside the French fighting in miserable conditions and in the end wearing down the Kaisers Pride.

So they made the remark stick, right in the Kaisers hide.

Obamacare is a good term to make the fiasco seem to have an owner as it slides twards catastrophe.

What can I do about my spellchecker , it hates Obamacare, doesn't like Hillarycare either.

What decided WWI was the arrival of the Americans. They simply shifted the balance against the Kaiser.
It was a stupid war, started by stupid people for the stupidest of reasons.
The troops on both sides were fighting for their buddies: that is the way it always is.
Most of the time. I recall a scene in Dr Zhivago in which the Russian Army became aware that it was all a worthless loss of their lives and they murder the Czar's officer.
It was great cinema, if it really happened that way, I salute the troops.

The US got in so that JP Morgan would  not lose all the money he had lent the Brits.

We should have stayed "Too proud to fight"

Wow.....check out that deflection effort.  Pivot from the idiocy of how when the left uses the term Obamacare its justified, but if the right uses it, its racist, --> to how dumb WWI was, done purely to support some big business, & how we should have never entered.  Practically developed whiplash on that one

Eegh...

Please blame this awkward segue on me .

I think Obamacare is well named , because the president deserves the glory of its success, or,even if it is pretty negative .

Oh you're not to blame, Plane.  Your point, in bringing up WWI, was specific to the topic that xo produced, the idea of conflicting definitions/rationales for the same purpose/act.  He completely absolved himself from that point, and went on to critique the supposed reasons we went to war instead

Do you think that changing the topic would be a good topic?

;D.     As long as we're being up front with the change
