Farrakhan's Islam is not to be confused with the actual real variety.
It is less violent, but nutty in a different way.

I think we vet all refugees. Only the wife of the San Bernardino bomber was an actual foreign-born Muslim from a Muslim nation.

There are two factions of the NOI,
(1)Farrakhan  runs the largest that incorporates the wacky theories of Walllace Fard and Elijah Mohammad, which involves the breeding of White folks by an ancient geneticist for evil purposes and yes, even space aliens , and (2) the group of more traditional  NOI members led by Elijah Mohammad's son Wallace that is the offshoot of Malcom X's faction.

The latter are much more likely to go on a hadj pilgrimage.
