  Tragically the dead guy here is a policeman.

    But the guy that shot him only knew that a group of men were breaking into his house through the window.

        The prosecutor is trying to get the death penalty, he is wasting his time , it is hard to imagine a jury finding this guy guilty.

Police that do not knock and bust through people's windows should expect to get shot.
This cop was stupid, or following the orders of someone who was stupid.

No way I would vote to convict the shooter of anything.
