This is the very point I was going to make.
There are a lot of features in Obamacare that are back loaded , with balloon payments showing up soon after this election.
This may seem to be a nasty thing to do to Hillary Clinton and our future selves , but most Democratic presidents who serve two terms are replaced by Republicans so Obama and the Democratic Congress that existed at that time might have thought that they were laying this mine for a Republican administration to trip on.
But...
More than thirty state governments were savvy to this trick and refused to play, costing them billions up front but eventually(next year) saving them from huge obligations that the federal system will walk away from.
Don't be mad at Rick Scott just for being smarter than President Obama, lots of people have this problem.
