Women are better at mothering as a rule, I do not think anyone disputes that, but there are always women and men who do not fit the usual classifications.

You have never met even one? Me neither.  This is a little measure of the real difference , men who willingly become house husbands are scarce and scarcer still the women who want one.

Worse, of course. Best is always when people choose for themselves. Not that people should marry their siblings or cousins, but in the parameters that we are discussing.

So lets talk about how the law will never be able to close the wage gap between men and women.

If a significant number of women were to make manlike choices and a significant number of men were to make woman like choices , the wage gap would disappear.

 A law or set of laws that seeks to overcome the decisions made by individuals will have to trample the right to choose these choices.
