News flash, "Would have been turned down" (because of skin color) is the same as being prevented based on skin color, and thus open to prosecution.  Now if someone, (regardless of skin color) is turned down because they didn't have the financial ability to support such a purchase, there's absolutely noting wrong or discriminatory in that decision making
