Land of the Free and Home of the ... Mute?
« on: September 09, 2016, 10:22:58 AM »

So the ratbag right reasoning is this: You can protest because of all the brave soldiers who fought for your freedom. And to honor them. you should simply get with the program and stop complaining!

This is America, where we show our patriotism by standing up and listening to some celebrity sing the first verse of the National Anthem before we spend four hours watching beer and car commercials and listening to moronic sports commentators spout inane facts & figures and yes, watch a total of 60 severely interrupted minutes of mutantly large men with numbers on their backs butt heads and fiddle with a ball that will not bounce predictably.

If you do not stand, it will ruin the thrill for everyone.

If I was NFL Commissioner I would immediately mandate that every team uniform have an American Flag emblem and if one of these spoiled rotten bozos refuses to wear the uniform then let 'em go apply at McDonalds or Craigslist!

Isn't it always entertaining how the left seems to imply there should be some right...or rule...or even law that proclaims how someone should be allowed to say or do anything that offends someone else, but be free from any retaliatory criticism.  As long as its's offending those elements the left has no problem offending of course.  But heaven forbid you offend someone of the politically correct protected class.....where they have to build safe spaces

News flash xo...NO ONE IS ADVOCATING THAT KAPERNIC CAN'T SAY OR DO ANYTHING HE WANTS IN SOME IDIOTIC NOTION PROTEST.  You can complain and kneel until you get arthritis.  Just don't expect immunity from offending so many, while so many others died to provide you your right to be an idiot

The rightest right should have the same right to complain as the leftist left.

If this means that we put up with some idiotic protests and statements now and then it is a small price to pay for having the freedom to grouse loudly when it is our own turn.

As a side benefit , we learn who the idiots are.

So when someone complains about the situation , and someone complains about the complaining, then someone complains abut the complaining of the complaining....

      Its just the American way.

It is pretty stupid to tell the citizens that they have the right to protest because people fought and died to give them that right, and then tell them that out of gratitude for being granted that right, they must never use it.

How does that make any bloody sense?

The Revolutionary War and the War of 1812 were fought for the rights of citizens.
The Mexican War, the Spanish American War, WWI, Vietnam and the Iraq and Afghanistan wars were not. There was no way the Taliban, Saddam, Kaiser Wilhelm, Uncle Ho, Santa Anna or Isabel II would have deprived Americans of free speech or other rights had the US lost.

The Civil War and WWII were sort of toss ups. The Confederacy would have continued to deprive slaves and the landless from their rights had the South won. WWII MIGHT have ended up wit the Germans taking over the US.

Nobody died in Vietnam to protect free speech, freedom from religion or guns. Get real!

Who the hell is saying that "they never can use it"??  NAME ONE PERSON??  Again, you equate criticism with they shouldn't be allowed.  Good God, what's wrong with you??

Stop trying to get those shouting "shut UP" to shut up.

    Hehehehe this is so circular.

People calling it deplorable have a right , people saying shut up have a right.

          It is the same right.
