Justice Ginsburg: National Anthem Protests "Dumb and Disrespectful"

In a Yahoo News interview with Katie Couric, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg weighed in on the national anthem protests that were started by San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, calling the protests that have since spread around the country "dumb and disrespectful."

"I think it's really dumb of them," said of the protesters.

"Would I arrest them for doing it? No," Ginsburg continued.

"I think it's dumb and disrespectful.
I would have the same answer if you asked me about flag burning.
I think it's a terrible thing to do, but I wouldn't lock a person up for doing it.
I would point out how ridiculous it seems to me to do such an act".

Well, it is one way that Black Americans can tell White Americans that racism is not dead, and peacefully.
The whole bit that Obama provokes racism is total bullshit. He simply reminded racists of whom they are. and they went ape trying to find new ways to deny it.

The Pledge of Allegiance at sporting events is dumb.
Mentiioning God in the Pledge is also stupid.
