Actually DJT is on record as being against the Confederate flag.

As a New Yorker I would not expect him to understand.

As president elect he isn't really in control of this , and his being president -elect isn't really the signal that removes the repression.

But as a symbol for a symbol it works both ways.

Lots of people on both sides want to have Trump carry the Confederate brand , some because they want a boost for the Flag and some because they want to hang a drogue onto Trump.

So what happens next week when DJT asks everyone participating in the inaugural parade to eschew the Confederate symbology?

Confederates are not especially co-operative, that is what the symbol really means.

This article was recommended on the Scott Adams blog.

It is about what is said of Trump and what is true of Trump.

About who is going to be disappointed and who is going to stop listening to dog whistlers.

I really enjoyed reading it, just chock full of common sense as I am, I finally got some confirmation bias !
