Perhaps all Senators who have met with rival power ambassadors in recent years ought to be recused from these questions?
I expect that meeting with a Chinese , Russian, Saudi Arabian or Brazilian ambassador is a pretty ordinary event for most senators.
The real question is what they spoke during such an opportunity.
