Kimba as a business owner I can certainly see why some companies are heading this way.
It is incredible how much of my day is spent on "baby-sitting" employees type stuff.
An employee asked me a few weeks ago, why are we hiring 3 new people?
I said because:
"little johnny has a sore throat"
"my alarm clock didn't go off, I'm going to be late"
"my car won't start"
"my great-uncle died"
"my in-laws showed up unexpectedly and I need off"
"my wife's step-father's sister died"
"i've gotta be in court over a traffic ticket"
"i need to leave at noon because little Mary has a soccer tournament this weekend"
"i need to schedule my two week vacation"
"I will be out today because I have a migraine"
"i have a doctors appointment"
"i have a dental appointment"
"I cant stand working with the sales manager, he is a real prick"
blah blah blah blah blah blah blah, blah
so you see why it is tempting for some of these companies to consider robots?
