I ask you to take an active role in the rebirth of your nation. Choose to reject violence and the sectarianism that fuels it. Choose to support an Iraq in which all citizens can live in harmony and mutual understanding. This is a pivotal time, and inaction may be tantamount to failure.

Priceless.  The leader of a force which in contravention of international law invades a sovereign state, overthrows and executes its leadership, kills about 600,000 citizens and drops white phosphorous on civilians - - as well as kidnapping, torturing, raping and murdering tens of thousands of locals - - now tells the locals to "reject violence."  Who writes this guy's scripts?  Woody Allen?

In what respect is this diffrent from how McArter addressed the problems of the Japaneese?
