MRSA is a very hard to kill bacteria.  The amount of money spent in protective gowns, eye shields, booties, caps and gloves per patient per day  has to be enormous.  Plus the red bags and the special disposal required for very infectious waste.

And getting harder.  It stands to reason that futher mutations of the bacteria to present antibiotic treatements, could present strains with no hope of being able to kill with any kind or combination of antibiotics.  Then what?   We all know that BIG Pharmacy is only in this for the money   :-\

Is there any potential in synthetic antibodies?

I would suppose that it is possible to encode the genome of this bacteria ,what  would we then have to do to produce an antibody or antibiotic that this germ could not cope with?

The germ changes and becomes stronger with each new antibiotic.
