If Al Queda is growing that doesn't mean we shouldn't be fighting them.

maybe if they swear never to attack us.
but it kinda unlikely.
the theme for this whole thing is to make sure we don`t get attacked
we`re not exactly doing a great job of it
and if we pull out now,we may look weak and it may give them the boost to think they can attack us in the future.

Unless our fighting them makes them stronger which seems to be the case. We might be their sparring partners for the real battle to come.

Obviously they become more formidable the more combat experience they get.  Afghanistan and the Red Army made these guys and Iraq is giving them more experience.  With a relatively small number of actives, the force is easily replenished from upcoming generations of pissed-off Muslims who see no alternative to taking on the Great Satan and dying in order to bring one or two of his agents along with them into the next world.  They've got a lot more stomach for the fight than most Americans do.  They can stay in it a lot longer.  What option do they have?  They can't go home because the Americans are in their living room.
