Actually, I think the motivating factor here is hypocracy.  It is the Republicans who have stormed the country side warning us all of the sins of degeneracy, all the while referring to the liberal culture as the culprit.

Maybe not all, but certainly most Repubs , especially the far right wingnut variety,  are at least closet gays or they wouldnt be so afraid of them.

I've never understood the need to demonize people for their sexual orientation, but Republicans do it all the time.   Gay? You're bad, immoral, you made a choice, all that crap. No marriage for you, no civil union for you.
 
So when  a Republican is arrested by a policeman, because he tried to solicit said policeman and pled guilty....and it was reported in a newspaper...I'M not outing the dude.  He outed himself.
