Liberals are weak. Christians can be weak.....but the "right" is not weak. They fight more than any MOVE ON....... organization.

There are no such nations. Ahmedinejad has been quoted (in English) while speaking Farsi, that he believes that eventually Israel will become a thing of the past, but even this is not the same as saying that
Iran wants Israel destroyed.

No nation or leader of any nation anywhere has ever said that the US should be destroyed. Mostly, other countries want us to leave them alone, to decide their own fates. They have a right to not have our CIA trying to destabilize them and to not be embargoed by the State Dept. They have a right not to have US public relations companies interfering in their elections with deceptive propaganda. Hell, the people of the US should have that right.

You have somehow got your skivvies in a knot over one Moving on ad. Observe that the ad did not declare that Petreus 'betrayed us', but that it asked whether Petreus would betray the hope that his mighty surge was all that was needed to win this silly war and come home. So far, the Mighty Surge has only possibly made it possible to withdraw the number of troops required to do the surging, with no end, I repeat NO END still in sight.

As for your assertation that the "Right is Right", that is just dumb. Right about WHAT?  Strip mining? Pollution? They are wrong about plenty, but the issues should be studied on their maertis, not bad=sed on whether they are supported by some rightwing nutjob.

Geeze, THAT'S a disappointment.  I would have hoped that they at least accused Petraeus of betraying his duties as an officer by shilling for the Bush administration.

Generally speaking, I don't like accusations of treason coming from the left.  First of all, because the right has already staked out that territory.  They claim to speak for the nation and the national interest and so they claim the right to attack their opponents as treasonous.  If now the Left makes the same accusation against the right or the military, it just sounds like copycat attack politics and looks insincere.  Besides which, it forces the left to buy into nationalism and a philosophy of "My country right or wrong" where the worst accusation the left could make was betrayal of the nation.  Whereas a real leftist is NOT a nationalist but an internationalist whose allegiances should primarily be class allegiances.  So for a leftist to accuse Petraeus of "treason to the nation" would ring false - - the real crime of Petraeus is his involvement in a humungous war crime and concomitant series of atrocities and crimes against humanity.  The chief focus of left accusations against Petraeus should be criminality, not treason.  And aiding an elitist government in its class-war struggle against the working classes and lumpenproles of the world.
