there is no financial education in high school
so these kids are very vulnerable to getting into high debt.
It was super easy for me to get a credit card in college and that was 20 years ago.
also culturally speaking we are not allowed to talk negatively about getting a college education.
if a kid gets accepted to harvard nobody will believe he`ll turn it down due to cost.
100k debt means nothing.
